
Jazmine was a Philadelphia native was born and raised there. Her mother Pam is a former backing singer at Philadelphia International Records. Her father gave her a job as the curator of the Historic Strawberry Mansion. She and her family then moved in to the historic famous landmark. In 2005, the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts graduated She is an instructor in vocal music. Sullivan began her singing career as a contralto choir for children, and then a few years later in the adult choir. Sullivan experienced only a small amount of secular music. She recalls that she was in her 11th year when someone requested her to sing in a solo at church. However, she was not yet ready for. In the following year, McDonald's held a contest for children in large cities. I was able to sing "Accept The Grace God Gives" during The show Showtime at the Apollo. And the crowd responded very well. She sang with Stevie Wonder at his grandson's birthday at the age of 13. Sullivan was signed initially to Jive Records at the age 15. It was her first time signing with Jive Records at the age 15. She recorded an entire album but this album did not see release. Sullivan was later dropped by the label. The singer maintained a relationship with Missy Elliott and produced many of the tracks from her debut, which included the hit single "Backstabbers" which was produced by Timbaland and composed by Elliott.
