
Josie Davis, a Hollywood origin from California, is an actor or writer as well as producer. Davis started her career at the age of three, when she was featured in commercials on television. As a small little girl, she got a role as a character in the TV show Charles In Charge. This show was the number one rated in syndication. Josie received three nominations to the highly coveted Youth In FIlm Award, which she won in her role as Sarah Powell. When she was an adult and a leading actress in a variety of television films, Davis received 2 Lifetime Movie Network awards. Even though she had the option of enrolling in USC's highly regarded creative writing course, Davis chose to keep acting. She studied intensely under the late Paul E Richards for twenty years. at the age of twenty four, Davis auditioned for Hollywood bigwigs like Shelley Winters, Mark Rydell and Martin Landau. Davis did not have a lot of experience, having only made one appearance at the renowned Actors Studio with privileges of being employed there, was given a lifetime membership after an invitation to audition. Davis was among only two people accepted for that year's auditions out of over 1,000 actors.
